I love tartan! And the perfect remake for stockings...

I am sooo good!  I'm not kidding, I made this stocking and THEN found these similar ones online.  I love tartan plaids and classic colors, especially at Christmas, and I did this fun DIY project out of a pleated miniskirt from the Goodwill Outlet.  See?
I used a pre-quilted navy cotton that I had left over from another project as the top.  I didn't put our names on them but the contrast is nice, the band of navy.  I used this skirt for the wool plaid:
So as I was getting ready to post these pics, I did a quick search and found these super similar stockings from Williams-Sonoma and Pendleton:
$58 from Williams-Sonoma:
And $48 from Pendleton:
And of course Martha has one, also a re-fashion but from a felt blanket:
I don't like Martha's as well.  But seriously, how good am I???  They are so similar to the ones I made!  *Success for the day!*
