But it's finally here. Last night we went to a family Christmas celebration dinner and the first presents of the year were opened. We wore festive Christmas colors and ate good food and talked about Modern Family. I am so excited for the holiday!!
And lucky me, I still have three more days of it! Today is a half day at work--we get to take off after an office party fancy lunch out. Then lots of time with friends and family over the weekend, and I get the 26th off.
Have you begun the official celebration of Christmas yet??
P.S. Oh, did I forget to mention?, I still have three Christmas gifts to finish... maybe Christmas Eve morning? Do a little sewing before we head out to see family? 'Nothing like a deadline, eh? ;)
Happy Christmas to you! My husband and I have been celebrating Hanukkah all week and are celebrating Christmas on Saturday. I still have one gift to finish for tomorrow so I'm glad to have the day off to get it finished!
ReplyDeleteLol, I was frantically finishing up projects the night before I was due to fly out for my family's Christmas celebration. It was extremely satisfying when, at 11:30PM they were finally done! Merry Christmas!
