How to Wear DIY: Springy florals!

So I made that floral skirt the other week when I was in a springy mood.  Got a chance to wear it this week despite the few showers since it's been warmer!  Just got this new tee from Forever 21 and am pretty much obsessed, but of course it's not warm enough by itself, so I added a fave denim shirt.  Oh, and I've been excited about my ability to do a side French braid, so been rocking that recently, too.

Here are the det.'s on the oufit!
Flats and denim shirt: Target via Goodwill (similar shirt). Belt: ?
Tee and Necklace: Forever 21 (similar necklace). Skirt: DIY!!

And the braid...

My husband said it's the coolest thing he's ever seen me do to my hair.  He thought it was edgy and hard-core.  I see it as old-fashioned and romantic!  I kind of like the messiness, which is good because my hair is usually frizzy and a little messy whether I like it or not. ;)

  4. I LOVE that skirt! I'm going to go look for that post right now... I've really been wanting to learn how to french braid my hair, but it seems like it would be rather difficult...I really need to give it a go though.

I'm sure there are tons of good tutorial videos on French braiding! It's not that hard, really; I'm sure you can do it!

  6. That is one of my favorite ways to do my hair - and it's becoming a popular style because of the Hunger Games, I think. Very pretty. That outfit is really cute, I love the belt and the layered tops with your pretty layered skirt.
