Quick update, Random.org says that the winner of the Ooh Baby Designs scarf or totebag giveaway is... #54, Melissa of Sew Sweet Stitches!
She said, "My buddy Courtney would absolutely LOVE the gray chevron tote, she loves gray and all things chevron, these are SO her style!"
I love the grey ones, too. But since I last checked, Ooh Baby has some new ones I also love, thought I'd share!
Follow Ooh Baby on Facebook and Twitter for updates and more specials coming up! And have fun picking out a tote, Melissa!
Melissa has been an Adventures in Dressmaking reader and commenter for a while so I'm excited she won one of my giveaways. She wrote me a Sewing Circle question about this dress not long ago! We found some patterns that might work! (Hey, Melissa, did you ever make it?)
Anyway, hope everyone's having a good holiday weekend!

Aww thanks! I'm so excited, and just MIGHT be tempted to keep it for myself! But it's just so perfect for my friend.
ReplyDeleteThe polka dot dress.. well... I got the perfect fabric and ended up using it for a 1940's Vogue pattern, but the dress has been banished to the unfinished projects box for having a wonky side zipper that I'm too frustrated to fix right now. Anyway, I did pick up the M6503, one of your Sewing Circle recommendations, and I'm going to go for the original intended project because I found more of the polka dot fabric on clearance!
Thanks again!
Sure! Thanks for the update! Oh, that unfinished projects box, how I resent mine...
DeleteSometimes starting over is better! That McCall's is cute!
