  1. You're such an awesome lady! I've got to get to these this year...

How about the one about taking in pants to make straight legs? They are still in style for this Spring I see...

    1. Thanks! I've definitely made jeans into skinnies before; some posts about them here http://www.adventuresindressmaking.com/search/label/jeans, but think we may include full photo instructions in my book coming out next year!

  2. I'm making a wedding dress for my daughter that has a net overlay that is heavily embellished with beads so I can't really baste it onto the pattern pieces because of the beading and of course we want a very smooth neck edge/arm edge. So is there a procedure to accompllish this? Am I going to hand sew the netting onto the finished pieces?

    1. Sounds beautiful! Not sure what part of the seams you're referring to... I never baste pattern pieces to the fabric, although you could also use pins if you don't want to accidentally sew through the beads. Check out this "Sewing Circle" question post http://www.adventuresindressmaking.com/2012/08/highly-requested-sewing-circle-how-to.html#.UcEYfvnVB8F on how to sew on lace; some of those methods will be similar with net.

  3. What kind of garments can I make with fat quarters? There are some gorgeous offerings out there in fat quarters but I don't know what to do with them! Any ideas?

    1. Good question! I haven't done much with them myself but a first Google search does yield some good resources... https://www.google.com/search?q=what+to+make+with+fat+quarters+clothing&oq=what+to+make+with+fat+quarters+clothing&aqs=chrome.0.57j62.5208j0&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8 Good luck!
